Visitors to our campus often comment on the diversity of our student population. We are indeed a global community. Cultural backgrounds of school families in recent years include the following countries: Argentina, Chile, China, Ethiopia, Eretria, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Korea, Japan, Mexico, Pacific Islands, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Taiwan, the United States, and Venezuela. We treasure this cultural richness. It infuses our school family with an exposure to and an appreciation of the diversity in our world.
Cypress Adventist School is part of the community of Adventist schools which are operated in nearly 200 countries around the world. This affiliation enables us to be a part of the global world community.
Special events and programs at Cypress often incorporate the dress, music, and foods represented in our diverse community. An example is the Social Studies Fair/Open House coming Sunday, March 15, 2015.
