Sewing Outreach

Grades 5-7 in Cypress Adventist School are making a difference, one stitch at a time.
The students used donated fabric, and sewing supplies, and turned these items into beautiful handmade dresses while also learning basic sewing skills. Our mission project was also blessed by a donation of new sewing machines.

The goal was a mission outreach to underprivileged girls in Haiti. In each dress pocket is a note telling about Jesus and His love for them, and inviting them to get to know Jesus as a friend.

Mrs. Paskell is proud of her students for stepping up, learning a new skill, and showing that they can make an impact in the world—one stitch at a time.
